Required Educational Qualification and Experience
For S. No. 1 
a) Principal Research Engineer
Essential Qualification and Experience: M. Tech + 13 years relevant experience or 
Ph. D + 8 years experience.
b) Senior Research Engineer
Essential Qualification and Experience: M. Tech + 10 years relevant experience.
Desirable Qualification and Experience:  Ph.D.  in Engineering (Materials, 
Electrical/ Electronics, Chemical) or Physics with a minimum of 5 years experience 
in Organics Electronics. At least 3 years of this experience should be in industry. 
Extensive experience of fabrication, Characterization and Building prototypes using 
organic semiconductor devices such as organic light emitting diodes, organic thin 
film transistors, organic solar cell etc. The industrial experience should include 
development of market-ready prototypes and conducting feasibility studies for their 
Commercialization.
For S. No. 2 
a) Principal Scientific Officer
Essential Qualification and Experience: M. Tech + 13 years relevant experience or 
Ph. D + 8 years experience.
b) Senior Scientific Officer
Essential Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. +3 years experience (for candidate 
with science background) or M. Tech +8 years experience (for candidate with 
engineering background).
c) Scientific Officer (Gr-I/Gr-II)
Essential Qualification and Experience: Ph.D. +3 years experience or M. Tech +8
years experience in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Research.
Desirable Qualification and Experience for two of these above Scientific Officer 
posts: five years experience in managing Research laboratories having class 1000 
clean rooms and hands-on working knowledge of equipment used for 
Nanotechnology research such as SEM, AFM, RAMAN, XRD, SAX, etc.
OrExperience in Nano/Micro fabrication using various lithography techniques such 
as Photolithography, Nano-imprint lithography, thin film preparation using 
thermal, sputtering and PECVD. Experience in using various characterization 
tools such as Ellipsometry, Spectrometry and Optical Profilometry is preferred.
Desirable Qualification and Experience for one of these above Scientific officer 
posts:  Ph.D in Environmental or analytical Chemistry with at least five years post 
–Ph.D research experience in Environmental remediation and Analytical 
measurement. Hands-on working knowledge of Advanced Materials  synthesis
techniques such as electrospinning and CVD. Experience in analytical instruments 
such as ICPMS, GCMS, and IC also required. 
For S. No. 3 
a) Computer Engineer (Grade I)
Essential Qualification and Experience:  M.Tech. + 3 years experience or B.Tech. 
+ 5 years experience or M.C.A. + 7 years experience. 
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Degree in Computer Science and 
Engineering  preferred. Expertise in Unix, Linux, Windows, Networking, RDBMS, 
Mail & Web Services, High Performance Computing. Experience of 
System/Database/Network analysis, development and administration is desirable.
For S. No. 4
a) Computer Engineer (Grade II)
Essential Qualification and Experience:  
M. Tech in the relevant area or B. Tech + 2 years experience or M.C.A. + 4 years 
experience. 
Desirable Qualification and Experience for 04 (four) positions: Degree in 
Computer Science and Engineering preferred.  Expertise in Unix, Linux, Windows, 
Networking, RDBMS, Mail & Web Services, High Performance Computing. 
Experience of System/Database/Network analysis, development and administration is 
desirable. 
Desirable Qualification and Experience for 01 (one) position:  Besides the 
minimum qualification and experience given above, expertise in the system 
administration in Unix/ Linux, RDBMS, experience of system analysis/ design, good 
command on Java, JSP.Notes:
