CORRIGENDUM – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES
Recruitment to twenty (20) posts of Education Officer/Assistant Director of Education in the Directorate of Education, Government of N.C.T. of Delhi.
The Commission have now decided to conduct a Recruitment Test for filling up these posts on 29.04.2012 (Sunday) from 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM at Delhi.
Reference Union Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No.02, Item No.09 published on 23.1.2010 with closing date of receipt of applications as 11.02.2010 (18.2.2010 for applications from abroad and those posting applications from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, States in the North Eastern Region, J&K State. Sikkim, Pangi Sub-division of Chamba District, Lahaul & Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh), for recruitment to twenty (20) posts of Education Officer/Assistant Director of Education in the Directorate of Education, Government of N.C.T. of Delhi.
The Commission have now decided to conduct a Recruitment Test for filling up these posts on 29.04.2012 (Sunday) from 02.00 PM to 04.00 PM at Delhi.
I. The Scheme of the Test:
1) The test will be of two hours duration and the medium of the question paper will be
both Hindi and English
2) The test will be an objective type with multiple choices of answers and will carry a
maximum of 100 marks
3) There will be penalty for wrong answers. Every wrong answer will carry a deduction of
one-third of the marks assigned to that question. If no answer is marked for a question,
there will be no penalty for that question.
II. Syllabus of the Test comprises the following:
1) General Knowledge including contemporary social, economic and cultural issues
2) Hindi and English language skills
3) Reasoning ability & Quantitative aptitude
4) Educational policies & Educational measurement and evaluation
5) Management & Financial administration
6) Office procedure

INTERVIEWS SHALL BE AS DECIDED BY THE COMMISSION
The post of education officer carry lesser responsibility than the Principal of a School. Principal has more responsibilities and he / she has to man over the entire administration / financial / civil / electrical structure of the school premises. An honest principal has to fight within the school with his vice-principal, Sr. teachers (for name-sake) / management people / administrative staff, specially accounts and admission people, PT teachers and class IV employees, who used to threat the honest and hard working principals. Then, why the pay-scale and grade pay are very lesser for principals in
ReplyDeletecompressible with Assistant Directors or Education officers.
The stress should always be on enrolling education officers from the educated, honest and hard worker principals, rather than than from the other catgs.
