RECRUITMENT OF HAVILDAR IN THE ARMY AS SURVEYOR AUTOMATED CARTOGRAPHER

Applications are invited from male candidates for recruitment to the post of Surveryor Automated Cartographer (Svy Auto Carto) in the Army as Havildars in the Corps of Engineers.
Total Number of Vacancies. A total of 15 (Fifteen) vacancies will be filled in.

ELGIBILITY -
Age Limit 20 to 25 years as on First day of Recruitment Rally. Candidates are requested to contact nearest recruiting office/Zone for date of recruitment Rally.3. Educational Qualification The minimum educational qualification for appointment will be BA/ BSc with Mathematics, having passed 12th class (10+2) or equivalent with Science and Mathematics as main subjects from a Recognised Board / University.

4.Medical Standards The candidate should have robust physique and be of sound mental health. Chest should be well developed having minimum 5 cm expansion. The candidate should have normal hearing with each ear, have sufficient number of natural teeth, i.e.14 dental points and healthy gums and should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele, varicose veins or piles. The candidate should be in medical category SHAPE-1 in terms of Special Army Order 6/S/2005/Rtg dated 05 Aug 2005 as amended from time to time.

5.Minimum Physical Standards Minimum physical standards will be as applicable to the Soldier General Duty category and these vary depending upon the region of the country. The country has been divided into six regions, e.g. Western Himalayan Region , Eastern Himalayan Region, Western Plains Region, Eastern Plains Region, Central Region and Southern Region.

6.Procedure of Selection
(a) The recruitment will be effected through all the HQ Recruiting Zones, IRO, Delhi Cantt and Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP). The candidates may apply at any one of the HQ Recruiting Zones, IRO, Delhi Cantt and Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP).
(b) Submission of Application Duly filled in application as per the format given in the advertisement be submitted to reach latest by 24 Dec 2011 alongwith the required documents duly superscribed “APPLICATION FOR SURVERYOR AUTOMATED CARTOGRAPHER” on the top outer cover of the envelope to the respective HQ Recruiting Zones / IRO, Delhi Cantt or Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP) of which the candidate is domicile of and that he has to appear for the written examination from the same HQ Recruiting Zone / IRO, Delhi Cantt and Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP). Postal Addresses of IRO, Delhi Cantt and Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP) are given below in Para 12.
(c) Application submitted to the HQ Recruiting Zone, IRO, Delhi Cantt and Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat, Gorakhpur (UP) of which the candidate is not domicile of will be REJECTED.
(d) Enclose two self addressed stamped Registered envelopes issued by the Department of Post & Telegraph giving your present address with PIN Code on which acknowledgment/ call up notice/rejection slip is to be sent.
(e) Candidates found eligible in all respects will be issued call up letters by the concerned Recruiting offices for initial screening which will include checking of original certificates, physical fitness and medical examinations.
(f) The candidates found eligible after screening will be put through written examination which will be conducted on 26 Feb 2012 and will comprise of two papers as follows Paper Subject

Pay & Allowances. On completion of successful training you will be placed in the Pay Band-1 (Rs 5200-20200) as per 6th Pay Commission. You will also be entitled to Grade Pay (Rs 2800) + Military Service Pay (Rs 2000) + Group ‘X’ Pay (Rs 1400) per month.
11. In addition to the above, liberal pension, promotion prospects, Group Insurance, Army Welfare Housing Scheme, 60 days Annual leave and 30 days Casual Leave, free medical treatment for self, family and dependants, entitled ration and other allowances as admissible to the regular Army.

1. Duly filled up Application as per the given format will be addressed to concerned
Headquarters Recruiting Zone/IRO, Delhi Cantt/ Gorkha Recruiting Depot, Kunraghat. Write
“ APPLICATON FOR SURVERYOR AUTOMATED CARTOGRAPHER” on top of the envelope
containing application.
2. Application may be handwritten or typed on A4 size paper as per the given format.
3. Affix your recent passport size photograph without sun glasses at the space
provided in the application form. Photograph taken with Polaroid camera or computer print
will not be accepted. An additional self attested photograph also be submitted along with
application form.
4. Enclose two self addressed stamped Registered envelopes issued by the Department
of Post & Telegraph giving your present address with PIN Code on which acknowledgment/
call up notice/rejection slip is to be sent.
5. A candidate whose application has been rejected earlier may apply again if eligible/
age permits.
6. All incomplete applications will be rejected.
