CORRIGENDUM – NOTICE TO CANDIDATES



Recruitment to Fifty eight (58) Posts  of Principal (34 male & 24 female) in the Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi (Secretariat Education Department).  
The Commission has now decided to conduct a Recruitment Test for filling up these posts in the Forenoon of 29.04.2012 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon, at Delhi Centre only


Reference Union Public Service Commission’s Advertisement No. 03, Item No. 27 published on  13.02.2010 with closing date of receipt of applications as  04.03.2010 (11.03.2010 for applicants from abroad and to those posting applications from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep, States  in the North Eastern Region, J&K State, Sikkim, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba, Lahual & Spiti Districts of Himachal Pradesh), for recruitment to Fifty eight (58) Posts  of Principal (34 male & 24 female) in the
Directorate of Education, Government of NCT of Delhi (Secretariat Education Department).
The Commission has now decided to conduct a Recruitment Test for filling up these posts in the Forenoon of 29.04.2012 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon, at Delhi Centre only. The Scheme and Syllabus for the Recruitment Test is as under:-

The Recruitment Test
will be conducted at
Delhi Centre only.
NOTE-I: INTIMATION ABOUT
VENUE OF THE RECRUITMENT
TEST WILL BE COMMUNICATED
TO THE CANDIDATES IN DUE
COURSE.
NOTE-II:  RESPECTIVE
WEIGHTAGE OF THE
RECRUITMENT TEST AND
INTERVIEWS SHALL BE AS
DECIDED BY THE COMMISSION.
SCHEME OF THE TEST:
   
(i) The test will be of two hours duration and
the medium of the question paper will be
both Hindi and English.
(ii) The test will be an objective type with
multiple choices of answers and carry a
maximum of 100 marks.
(iii) There will be penalty for wrong answer.
Every wrong answer will carry a
deduction of one-third of the marks
assigned to that question. If no answer is
marked for a question, there will be no
penalty for that question.
       SYLLABUS OF THE TEST:
It comprises:
(i) General Knowledge including
contemporary social, economic and
cultural issues
(ii) Hindi and English language skills
(iii) Reasoning ability & Quantitative aptitude
(iv) Educational policies & Educational
measurement and evaluation
(v) Management & Financial administration
(vi) Office procedure
