Applications are invited from Male and female candidates for filling up of the Male and Female posts in the District Police Cadre in the rank of constable in Punjab Police. :

• Constable Male : 3726 posts in various districts of  Punjab  
• Constable Female : 2000 posts in various districts of  Punjab
• Pay Scale : Rs. 5910-20200 Grade pay Rs. 2000/-, Age : 18-25 years as on 01/01/2011,
  Educational qualifications: The minimum educational qualification for recruitment is 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent. It is compulsory for each candidate to have passed matriculation examination with Punjabi as compulsory/optional subject. However, in case of Ex-Servicemen the minimum educational qualification will be matriculation
