of his identity with reference to his photograph, signature/ handwriting and thumb
impression etc. on the application form, admission certificates etc. The candidature
of the candidate is liable to be cancelled by the user department also, in case the
candidate is found not to be fulfilling the eligibility conditions.
The Competent authority of the department concerned shall issue the
appointment letters to the candidate after satisfying itself of their eligibility as
laid down in the recruitment rules and on verification of the correctness of the
information/documents as regards age, qualifications, caste certificate etc. as
furnished in the application form. Mere inclusion of name in the result notice
does not confer any right upon the candidate over the post.
The result has been processed keeping in view the eligibility conditions regarding
educational qualification/caste certificate as on cutoff date i.e. 30.07.2010.
For admissibility of benefit of reservation the result has been processed as per
the judgment dated 04.08.2009 of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India as passed in Civil
Appeal No. 5092/09 (arising out of SLP Civil No. 24327 of 2005) – Subhash Chandra
Ors. V/s DSSSB & Ors, with WP (C) No. 507 of 2006 – Sarv Rural & Urban Welfare
Society V/s Union of India & Ors.
The user department shall also get the OBC/SC certificate verified from the
Issuing Authority before their appointment. Further, it may also be verified that the
candidate does not belong to the persons/sections (Creamy layer) mentioned in
column 3 of the Schedule to the Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and
Training O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.1993, O.M. No.
36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res.) dated 09.03.2004 and O.M. No. 36033/3/2004-
Estt(Res.) dated 14.10.2008.
While every care has been taken in preparing the result, the DSSSB reserves
the right to rectify errors & omission, if any.
This issue with the prior approval of the Competent Authority, DSSSB.
