Repco Bank set up by the Government of India is a fast growing organization having branches in all the four southern States
and Puducherry. The Board of Directors of the bank comprise Senior IAS Officers from Central and State Governments and
Financial Experts. Repco Bank invites applications for the post of Officer Scale –I and Junior Assistant. The Salary structure of
employees of the bank is same as that of Nationalized banks. Repco Home Finance Limited (RHFL) is a subsidiary of Repco
Bank. Repco Bank proposes to fill up vacancies in RHFL also through this selection process. Successful candidates in excess
of requirement of Bank may be offered an appointment in subsidiaries i.e. Repco Home finance Limited, Repco Foundation for
Micro Credit, Repco MSME Development & Finance Limited and Repco Infrastructure Development Co. Limited depending
upon the vacancies in these organizations.

In case of Officer cadre, candidates already working in Commercial Banks/Co-operative Banks/Financial Institutions/Housing
Finance Companies will be given age relaxation equal to their duration of service in the respective organization subject to
maximum of 5 years.
2. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :
Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
3. EDUCATIONALQUALIFICATIONS:

Graduation or Post Graduation in any discipline with I class, 60%
marks from any University recognised by UGC.

Note:
a) The Educational qualifications prescribed for the post are the minimum.
b) In addition to the educational qualification prescribed, candidate should posses knowledge of Computers.
c) Degree obtained from Open University without following the regular stream(10 +2) is not recognised for
recruitment to any cadre.
d) Even final year students awaiting for results may also apply, subject to the condition that they should submit their
provisional certificate before the interview panel, if selected.
e) Candidates should be proficient with one of the local languages in India where the bank has branches.
f) In respect of vacancies in RHFL training/experience in Housing Finance is an added advantage.
4. SELECTION PROCEDURE:

· The written test will be conducted online comprising objective type questions and candidates merit listed on the
basis of the online written examination and such number of candidates as required, which will be determined by
the Bank will be called for the second stage of recruitment namely Group Discussion/Interview.
· Bank may take as trainee, the candidates who are not offered regular appointment, but whom the bank considers
has the potential. The training period of such trainee will be as determined by the bank.

The application fee must be paid upfront by all applicants. It has to be paid by means of a Bank Pay Order or Bank Demand
Draft issued by a Scheduled Bank payable at Chennai and should be drawn in favor of REPCO BANK RECRUITMENT CELL.
Candidates applying for more than one post should send separate application form and separate Bank Pay Order or Demand
Draft.
The applicant should write his / her name and address on the backside of the Demand Draft /Pay Order. Application not
accompanied by the Demand Draft/Bank Pay Order will not be considered for admission to the examination.
6. EXAMINATION CENTRE AND DATE OF EXAMINATION
a) Chennai will be the main center of examination, the following centers will be considered, if sufficient number of
candidates register at those places:
Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai, Vijayawada, Bangalore and Trivandrum.
b) Details regarding examination and venue will be given in the call letter.
c) Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for taking the Written Examination and meet all the
expenditure connected with it.
Note: i) Request for change of centre of Examination shall NOT be entertained after submission of the application form
ii) Bank reserves the right to cancel any of the centres and/or add some other centres, depending upon the
response, administrative feasibility, etc. Bank also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any of the centres other
than the one he/she has opted for.
7.IMPORTANT DATES:

first week of August 2011
However the dates will be intimated in the call letter along with the Centre/Venue of the examination.
All eligible candidates will receive call letters at the correspondence address given by the candidate in their application form.
8. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
i) Candidates working in Govt/Semi-Govt/Central undertaking / Public undertaking should apply through proper
channels.
ii) SC/ST/OBC candidates should enclose attested copies of Caste Certificate issued by Competent Authority,
i.e. Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar. (Repatriates should enclose attested copies of proof.)
In the absence of this they will be treated as general candidates.
iii) Ex-servicemen should send copies of their testimonials.
9. HOW TO APPLY
a. Candidates who satisfy the eligibility norms should submit their application in Bio – data form in English; typed on
thick A4 size sheet, with one recent passport size photograph affixed on the application on the top right hand corner
and indicating prominently in Bold letter the post for which he is applying at the Top. The format of the Application

b. The Bio-data should include 1. Name, 2. Address for communication, 3. Date of Birth, 4. Category whether SC / ST /
OBC / Repatriate / others 5. Educational Qualifications with percentage of Marks obtained, 6. Name of the centre
where he wants to take examination, 7. Name of the post.
