II. Qualifications:
Essential Qualification:
i) a) A Second Class Master’s Degree of a recognized University in
Economics, social Work, Sociology, Industrial Relation and Personnel
Management, Political Science, MBA with specialization in Industrial
Relations/ Personnel Management with at least 50% marks:
OR
b) Masters Degree with at least 40% marks in aggregate in one of the
subjects at (a) above and with 3 years experience as office bearer or
registered Trade Union or a Worker Teacher/Trainer/Rural
Educator/Volunteer under the CBWE with 3 years experience.
ii) Literacy in information Technology.
Experience
Knowledge and experience in Trade Unionism, Industrial Relations,
Labour Laws, Labour Welfare, Teaching Experience, work in rural areas etc.

Preference will be given to the Departmental Candidates as per Recruitment
Rules having Master’s Degree with at least 40% marks of a recognised University
having 8 years of regular and continuous service in the post of LDC or its
equivalent.

Mess arrangements are available on payment terms to the trainees, to be
employed as Education Officer.
At present the existing Education Officers are placed in the pay scale
of

court and a decision is awaited in this regard. The revision of pay scale is subject to the
decision of Hon’ble High Court.

The candidates before joining the training will have to execute a bond on
stamp paper of appropriate value that they will serve the Board for a period of
three years, if offered employment. The bond would be null and void if
employment is not offered within a period of six months from the date of
completion of training. The initial appointment will be on probation of two years.
Education officers are liable to be posted and transferred anywhere in the country.

4. Certificates are not required at this stage, which will be verified at the time
of Written Test/Interview. In case of SC/ST/OBC candidate, certificate issued
by the competent authority in the prescribed proforma is needed if
relaxation in age and/or application fee is sought.
5. Incomplete application is liable to be rejected.
Other Information:
1. The Central Board for Workers Education will not be responsible for postal
delays.
2. Candidates should only paste, recent photograph on the application and
should not be stapled or pinned.
3. Any change in the address should be communicated to the Director,
Central Board for Workers Education, Nagpur, immediately.
4. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates summoning for Written Test/
Interview.
5. The Central Board for Workers Education will not enter into correspondence
with the candidates about reasons for their non-selection, or any other
matter.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate.
7. Incomplete applications and the applications received after due date, will
not be entertained and also no fee will be refunded.
8. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for stay for
Test/Interview.
